Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) define the conditions for using “RoughPlan” (the “App”). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Applicability)

  1. These Terms apply to all relationships regarding the provision and use of the App.
  2. Users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms by downloading, installing, or using the App.

Article 2 (Purpose of the App)

The App is intended to provide simple calculations of room areas and dimensions based on floor plan images.

Article 3 (Eligibility)

  1. The App is available for use by individuals aged 13 and above.
  2. Users under 13 years old require parental consent.

Article 4 (Prohibited Activities)

Users must not engage in any of the following activities when using the App:

  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  2. Acts related to criminal activity
  3. Acts that interfere with the operation of the App
  4. Unauthorized access or cracking
  5. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
  6. Unauthorized commercial use of the App
  7. Acts that infringe on the rights of other users or third parties
  8. Registering false information
  9. Other acts deemed inappropriate by the developer

Article 5 (Subscription (Pro Version))

1. Available Plans

The App offers both a free version and a Pro version (paid subscription).

2. Pro Version Features

  • Ad-free experience
  • Unlimited project storage (limited to 3 projects in the free version)
  • High-resolution image export functionality

3. Subscription Plans

The App offers the following subscription plans:

  • Weekly plan
  • Monthly plan
  • 3-month plan
  • 6-month plan
  • Annual plan

※ Pricing follows the amounts displayed in the App Store.

4. Auto-Renewal

  • Subscriptions automatically renew.
  • Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Auto-renewal may occur within 24 hours of purchase.

5. Cancellation Method

Subscriptions can be canceled through the following steps:

  • iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
  • Within the App: Settings → Manage Subscription

6. Payment

  • Charges will be billed to the payment method registered with your Apple ID.
  • Your Apple ID account will be charged upon purchase confirmation.

7. Free Trial

If the App offers a free trial, it will automatically transition to a paid subscription after the trial period ends. You will not be charged if you cancel during the trial period.

Article 6 (Refund Policy)

  1. Refunds after subscription purchase are generally not provided.
  2. However, refunds may be available for legitimate reasons in accordance with Apple’s refund policy.
  3. Refund requests should be made through the App Store.

Article 7 (Restore Purchases)

  1. After changing devices or reinstalling the App, you can restore previously purchased subscriptions using the “Restore Purchases” feature.
  2. Restoration requires the same Apple ID used at the time of purchase.

Article 8 (Intellectual Property Rights)

  1. Copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the App belong to the developer or legitimate rights holders.
  2. Copyrights to data created by users through the App (such as floor plan projects) belong to the users.
  3. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights of the App to users.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

  1. Dimensions and areas displayed in the App are estimates based on the total floor area entered by users. They do not guarantee actual measurements or accurate dimensions.
  2. Use of the App does not substitute for professional judgment in architectural drawings, real estate transactions, construction work, etc.
  3. The developer assumes no responsibility for any of the following matters arising from the use of the App:
    • Damages due to errors in dimensions or areas
    • Data loss
    • Device malfunction
    • Disputes with third parties
    • Other damages arising from the use of the App
  4. The App is provided “as is.” The developer makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App’s operation, functionality, or accuracy.

Article 10 (Service Changes and Termination)

  1. The developer may change or terminate the App’s content without prior notice to users.
  2. The developer assumes no responsibility for any damages incurred by users due to the termination of the App.
  3. Refunds for service termination during an active subscription period will follow Apple’s refund policy.

Article 11 (Changes to Terms of Service)

  1. The developer may change these Terms as necessary.
  2. Revised Terms become effective upon publication on this page or within the App.
  3. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes agreement to the revised Terms.

Article 12 (Severability)

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to be effective.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Japanese law.
  2. Any disputes regarding the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the developer’s location.
